When bespoke picture framing business Image Frames decided to establish an online presence owner Andy Streader knew he had to do something special in order to provide a highly personalised service.
After all, when you hang your cherished artwork on the wall you want to be sure it is going to look absolutely right. But how can you do that when you don't have a selection of frames and mount cards in front of you and an expert to help bring it all together?
Coleridge Consulting created an online customer experience that matched and, in some areas, exceeded that of a face to face consultation.
Andy Streader says:
The site is so simple to use. All the client has to do is visit our Interactive Frame Designer, enter the size of their artwork and optionally upload an image file. A high resolution preview shows the client what the finished article will look like as they experiment with hundreds of different frame and mount combinations.
Such is the attention to detail that everything is to perfect scale and even subtle shadows within the frame are created. Each preview image can be downloaded and printed to help compare different designs.
Andy continues:
Once the client has designed their ideal frame, they order and pay for it online and we hand make and despatch it typically within three days. Our customers think it is fantastic. It certainly gives us a significant advantage over much of our competition, extends our reach nationally and provides a creatively involving customer experience.
